Monotangle CZT

Well, the lovely Laura Harms has done it again.  Her challenge this week is to use ONLY ONE TANGLE to create an entire design.  An interesting, not to mention enormously difficult, challenge to be sure.  How do you choose just one tangle?  They are all so lovely and malleable and different... this was HARD!  In the end I used my own, which is similar to Rick's Static.  And, of course, this week I am celebrating the achievement of my ambition to become a Certified Zentangle Teacher - that's right, CZT - that's me! *G*
Happy Tuesday!

  1. I love the way the tangle makes ripples and the shading of the letters is great.

  4. Congratulations on becoming a CZT. And I agree - the hard part is choosing just one tangle amongst the multitude of great patterns. Yours is unique and a very nice combination of text and tangle.

  5. I think I'm seeing waves of joy on your tile today. Congratulation on completing your CZT training. Did you give your tangle a name?

  12. Ooohhh I love the calm and steady movement of this. Using the letters in negative space is awesome!

  13. The white space breaks up the busy, beautiful challenge. I love how it is defined, but not with any straight lines. I have been accepted to the May seminar, and I look froward to that! Congrats!!

(I mistyped "forward," but I liked it better this way so I kept it. Still the same meaning.)

  14. Oh my deario, Wolf, you are gonna love it! Incidentally I, too, prefer the "froward" - so much more evocative, yes? *G*
