Tangled Up In Friday

Ah, the bliss of having reached the end of a long work week... just gotta love those Fridays, eh? (yeah, I'm Canadian all right! *G*).

A friend wanted to have a "play date" and do some Zentangle inspired art, so we had a lovely chat, a cup of delicious tea and a great time discussing our art, Zentangles, patterns, shading, motivations, inspirations, etc.  A really great way to wind down!  And here's the newest page in my little Zentangle journal...

Happy Friday!

  1. What an amazing hand reaching carefully out for a precious world…
I saw some 'hand-strings' already. This one pleases me most!
    Thanks for sharing.

  6. What a great way to relax, with a cup of tea, a friend and making an awesome zentangle. I love the way you treated the space between the baby finger and the ring finger, very cool!

  7. @JoniThank you, Joni. It was really lovely. Once I drew the shape (my left hand - lumps from haemangiomas and all) I tried to stop looking at the actual origins and concentrate on the shapes alone. It was really fun!
