A friend wanted to have a "play date" and do some Zentangle inspired art, so we had a lovely chat, a cup of delicious tea and a great time discussing our art, Zentangles, patterns, shading, motivations, inspirations, etc. A really great way to wind down! And here's the newest page in my little Zentangle journal...
Happy Friday!
What an amazing hand reaching carefully out for a precious world…
ReplyDeleteI saw some 'hand-strings' already. This one pleases me most!
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I'm enjoying getting to know your own work through your blog http://zendoodle-wege.blogspot.com and think we see / feel many similar things.
ReplyDelete@Phine Thank you! What a kind thing to say.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool, love the see thru vision of the hand! So many cool tangles on your site :)
ReplyDelete@EdenThanks, Eden. It's a wonderful art form that's incredibly fun to pursue...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to relax, with a cup of tea, a friend and making an awesome zentangle. I love the way you treated the space between the baby finger and the ring finger, very cool!
ReplyDelete@JoniThank you, Joni. It was really lovely. Once I drew the shape (my left hand - lumps from haemangiomas and all) I tried to stop looking at the actual origins and concentrate on the shapes alone. It was really fun!
