Wheeeee! Our lovely diva, Laura of iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com , has given us a seventh challenge - to create a tile focused clearly and cleanly on the Zentangle mantra, "Relax - Breathe - Smile". An interesting challenge, indeed. "Relax" is something of an alien command to me. Learning to turn off the external, release burdens, enter the now... NOT something I do well nor easily. "Breathe" is fine - lots of experience in breath control from dance training, vocal training, performances... "Smile" - well, it's like a heartbeat for me so no problems there, but that darn "Relax"... well, I tried, although I suspect I'll be revisiting this challenge also. Possibly repeatedly! *G* What do you think?
Happy Monday!
love it!!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, it looks relaxing to me, I'm smiling too!
ReplyDeleteYou may have had a hard time with the 'relax' part, but your zentangle makes me feel relaxed. It's lovely.

ReplyDeleteLooks very good!
ReplyDeletereally no need for a redo!! this make me feel comforted..the upper left corner is a blanket to relax in and then free flow of the "flowers" in bottome right corner..

The shading in the negative spaces makes me think of ocean waves cresting over sand--definitely relaxing!
ReplyDeleteYou captured it! I would keep this tile in view a s a visual mantra. Love those shaded gentle ripples in the top left area. Wow!
